sunny thunderstorms

i'm starting to really enjoy my frday mornings in which i get to sleep in, eventually get up, make myself breakfast and then sit on my balcony with a good book and eat.

i love thunderstorms. the sound of the rain on the window is soothing and the thunder and the lightning is so beautiful. ahhh mother nature...she knows when i'm in the mood to sit back and watch a good movie. i also love pictures at night without flash. it looks like the neighborhood is on fire!

what you can't see is that this is a parking ticket for 250 dollars that i found on my car this morning for parking in a handicap spot thati did not know was handicap because it must have happened within the past month considering i have parked there before.....im gonna fight this and hopefully win!

i ride this a lot these days. it makes me feel better and i'm not really sure exactly what that's supposed to mean. it just does.

there's something about snow that gets me. and it's even the littlest bit at this point i settle for. it has a way of helping me get through 11 hour work days. that and vegan chicken noodle soup.

so this little guy determined a good chunk of my decisions for me last night. and i can't say that i was disappointed in how things ended up. so really, is it such a bad idea to leave things to chance or fate? why should i struggle so hard to make things end up a certain way?

rainy nights

weather, i think, can fully affect a mood in good ways and bad ways. i think the weather these days have done a little of both for me. i like rain and even more than rain, i love snow. the bit of flurry that has happened the past 2 mornings has done nothing short of make me smile, but when in transforms back to the rain, the smile fades slightly. and i say only slightly because as i mentioned before i do enjoy the rain. i feel though, these days, i have spent more time indoors than i should. so who wants to play in the rain with me? or should i say, who wants to get pneumonia with me?
